Your mission

Overview of the position:
Hours: 80% part-time (31,2 hours per week)
Starting date: October 2026
Location: Berlin, Germany
Salary: According to TVöD Bund, pay grade E10

Your main tasks:
  • You are responsible for the travel arrangements and participant management as well as organisational and logistical support for peer-learning activities in coordination with the project team and international partner organisations
  • You ensure timely communication and coordination with partner organisations as well as the project team and external service providers and you flag organisational bottlenecks
  • You support the project team in network management, the organization of events, the editing of presentations and publications, and external communication
  • You provide organisational, logistical and administrative support for activities, implemented by international partner organisations
  • You follow up on donor regulations and internal policies (e.g. procurement rules) in coordination with the finance department

Your knowledge, experience & skills

  • You hold an MA in political sciences or international relations, preferably with a focus on peace and conflict studies; knowledge on transitional justice and development cooperation in early recovery contexts are an asset
  • You possess excellent organizational and logistical skills
  • You have first professional experience with the organization of international event formats (including hybrid and online formats) as well as project management and billing
  • Prior experience in supporting international network management and remote coordination is an asset
  • Fluent German and excellent verbal and written language skills in English
  • Furthermore, you have first professional experience in layout and editing presentations and publications
  • Professional skills in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) complete your profile
