The Berghof Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization supporting people in conflict in their efforts to achieve sustainable peace through conflict transformation and peacebuilding. Your responsibilities
Overview of the position:
Hours: part-time (approx. 20-30%, 8-12 hours per week)
Starting date: as soon as possible
Duration: limited contract until the end of 2026
Location: Berlin, Germany
Salary: According to TVöD Bund, pay grade E10
Department & reporting line: Regional Peace Support Department, Head of Unit for Europe
Your main tasks:

Your main tasks:
- You support the organisation, implementation, and follow-up of project activities
- You provide logistical and administrative support for project delivery
- You help organise day-to-day tasks and support timely implementation
- You support the preparation of events, meetings, and travel arrangements
- You assist with participant coordination, scheduling, and practical follow-up
- You support the organisation and implementation of online events and formats
- You prepare project materials such as agendas, presentations, participant lists, and reports
- You compile information and background materials as needed
- You conduct background research in support of project activities
- You support budget administration and financial follow-up in line with internal procedures
- You assist with reporting processes and help compile inputs for donor reporting
- You help ensure compliance with internal and external administrative requirements
Your knowledge, experience & skills
- Master degree (accred. Universities) within relevant field such as Peace and Conflict Studies, Gender Studies, Political Science, Law, International Relations
- Demonstrated knowledge in the topics of Women, Peace and Security, gender-sensitive programming, mediation and negotiation
- Excellent planning, budgeting and written communication skills
- Experience in remote communication & cooperation, and operating online communication and workshop platforms
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English (at least C1-level), Ukrainian or Russian language skills an asset
- Certified mediation and negotiation training

About the Berghof Foundation
The contract duration of the part-time position is limited until 31.12.2026, depending on the availability of project funds.
