Your mission

Overview of the position:
Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Starting date: As soon as possible
Duration: 31st March 2027, with the possibility for extension
Location: Berlin, Germany 
Department: Executive Office
 
As a working student (all genders), your initial focus will be to support the development of our internal knowledge management and help us make organisational knowledge easier to find, share and use. Depending on personal interests and organisational needs, the scope of your responsibilities may expand accordingly.
Your tasks will include:
 
  • Supporting the setup and maintenance of internal knowledge spaces in Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Teams; integrating AI (here: Copilot) to navigate and engage with all relevant knowledge contents.
  • Helping to collect, review and structure existing documents, templates, guidance notes, tools and internal resources.
  • Assisting with the clean-up and migration of selected content into agreed knowledge management structures; testing to which extent AI can be helpful in doing so.
  • Identifying outdated, duplicated or hard-to-find information.
  • Drafting and formatting knowledge articles, FAQs, how-to guides and internal process descriptions based on input from colleagues.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of central libraries for templates, policies, tools, project resources and good practice examples.
  • Maintaining simple trackers of key knowledge resources, content owners, review dates and open tasks.
  • Helping collect and analyse staff feedback on information needs, usability and knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Supporting internal communication and onboarding materials related to knowledge management.
  • Assisting with the organisation and documentation of internal learning and knowledge-sharing formats.
  • Providing general coordination and administrative support to the team driving knowledge management.



 

Your knowledge, experience & skills

  • You are studying Computer Science, Business Administration, information management, Communications, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Confident and self-sufficient user of Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Teams.
  • Structured and methodical approach and ability to process unstructured, ambiguous input and translate it into clear, usable formats.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Curious about the possibilities of AI-supported knowledge work and willing to explore tools critically and practically.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Reliable, organised and capable of managing several parallel workstreams with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable working in an international, purpose-driven environment.
  • Ideally, familiarity with information architecture or UX principles and content management.
