Your mission
Overview of the position: Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week)
Starting date: 15 February 2026
Duration: limited contract until 31 January 2027 (with the possibility of extension depending on funding)
Location: Berlin, Germany
Department & reporting line: Head of Unit
The Project Officer (all genders) will support Ethiopian-led and Ethiopian-owned peace efforts, contributing to organizing, coordinating, and implementing activities, in close cooperation with colleagues across Berghof Foundation and its partner CDRC.
- Support the project team in coordinating narrative and financial reporting across the various workstreams, including contributions to project proposals, donor reports, as well as financial and administrative procedures.
- Close collaboration with finance managers and colleagues working on logistics regarding budget planning and project activities.
- You contribute to the development of concept notes, agendas and other relevant documents for the implementation of project activities and events.
- You conduct background research and develop abstracts about relevant topics.
