Your mission
For our Sub-Saharan Africa Unit (Somalia Programming), we are looking for a Student Assistant (all genders) to support the preparation, implementation and documentation of project activities and events in Berlin and abroad. The position will focus on support to our programming in Somalia.
Overview of the position:Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible)
Starting date: 01.01.2026
Duration: Limited contract until 31.12.2026
Location: Berlin, Germany
Your main tasks:- Support project implementation in close cooperation with the team
- Coordinate with project team and partners regarding logistical, administrative and financial issues
- Assist in organising travels and events in coordination with project team, including short-notice and high-level engagements
- Support documentation of project activities and report-writing
- Contribute to internal administration and coordination of a diverse team in Germany and abroad
